Lily Gladstone Earns History-Making Emmy Awards Nomination

Lily Gladstone and Kali Reis have made history as the first two Indigenous women to ever be nominated for an Emmy Award.

Under the Bridge, the limited true crime drama series starring Lily Gladstone, has earned the actress a historic feat at the 2024 Emmy Awards. Gladstone shared the accomplishment with fellow Indigenous actress Kali Reis, who is nominated in the came category for her role in True Detective: Night Country. The newly announced Emmy Awards nominations also include a number of nods for Reservation Dogs, the cast and crew of which are largely Indigenous people.
