Lily Collins Shares Heartwarming Note on Dad Phil Collins’ 74th Birthday
Years after retiring due to several health issues, Phil Collins celebrates his 74th birthday with a special note from Lily Collins
Alongside her message, Lily, who married husband Charlie McDowell in 2021, shared a throwback photo of herself and her dad when he earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as well as a photo of him supporting her during her West End debut in Barcelona late last year. In an interview with Drumeo from October 2022, Phil opened up about his decision to retire from music, admitting that he’s “done most of the things I’ve wanted to do,” adding he’s “got nothing to complain about.” Phil Collins will always love playing the drums, but years of rocking and rolling has taken its toll on his hands.
