Lily Allen's mother Alison Owen has voiced her fears that her daughter would meet the same ill-fate as her music contemporary Amy Winehouse.
Ahead of the release of a biopic about the late star, who passed away in 2011 from alcohol poisoning, the producer spoke about her fears for her famous child, who has battled well-documented demons with substance. She said: 'Lily fitted the bill because, early in her success, her role model was her dad [the 'hell-raising' actor Keith Allen]... She'd seen him idolised for swearing, taking drugs and being drunk in the Groucho Club...
