Lily Allen reveals she has received 'death threats' after returning rescue puppy
Lily Allen has posted a lengthy statement on Instagram after she faced backlash for rehoming her rescue puppy, and says she's received 'death threats' over the incident.
Taking to her Instagram on Sunday to set the record straight, Lily explained that she 'tried very har for a very long time' with the pup, as the passport incident was the final straw. We rescued our puppy from a shelter in NY and we loved her very much, BUT she developed pretty severe separation anxiety and would act out in all manner of ways. Lily urged her followers to stop acting on reports and articles instead of listening to her podcast directly - describing 'toxic' behaviours as she finished that we can 'do better'.
