Lil Wayne remained quiet for much of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake feud, but appeared to break his silence and throw his support behind the 6 God over the weekend. During his performance at Zouk Nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday night (July 13), Wayne took the intro of “The Motto” and tweaked lyrics to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” while briefly flashing his OVO owl pendant chain. The lyric appears to reference when Weezy was behind bars on gun charges in NYC and Drake allegedly got romantically involved with Wayne’s then-girlfriend Tammy Torres.
