Lil Nas X Would Like to Set the Record Not-So-Straight on New Single ‘Dreamboy’: Stream It Now

Over a set of chunky piano chords, the rapper calmly invites his audience to have a seat and “grab a glass of wine” before he starts spitting bars. Throughout the verse, Lil Nas acknowledges his less-than-stellar 2024, where he dropped his long-anticipated follow up to Montero in “J Christ,” which ultimately failed to break through to the mainstream despite it’s controversial video. In a post to his social media over the weekend, the singer also revealed that his next single, “Hotbox,” will be dropping on Friday (March 14), while the new LP does not yet have an official release date.
