Lil Nas X Looks for the Silver Lining on New Single ‘Light Again’: Stream It Now

In a series of posts shared throughout the week, the “Old Town Road” singer unveiled the name of his next project as Dreamboy and teased that he was “back and better” with his latest set of songs. At the start of 2024, Lil Nas X declared his return to pop with “J Christ,” a controversial pop-rap track that saw the singer dunking on anti-LGBTQ Christians throughout the rollout. The star also shared two other one-off solo singles this year — “Where Do We Go Now?” from his HBO documentary Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero and “Here We Go” from Netflix’s Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F — while also jumping on a pair of collaborations with Kevin Abstract (“Tennessee”) and Camila Cabello (“He Knows”).
