Lil Nas X Is on the Case in Detective-Inspired Single ‘Here We Go’

Lil Nas X has released a new single, "Here We Go," off the soundtrack to 'Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F.'

The single was produced by Ojivolta and written by Lil Nas X, Harold Faltermeyer, Raul Cubina, Mark Williams, and Jarrod Morgan. The official synopsis notes, “After his daughter’s life is threatened, she and Foley team up with a new partner and old pals Billy Rosewood and John Taggart to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy.” Back in the Nineties, a fourth installment was announced but never materialized and in the mid-2010s, a movie was planned to shoot in Michigan but was postponed due to a half-baked script.
