Lil Nas X Hospitalized After Mysterious Condition Paralyzed Half His Face

The two-time Grammy winner drew well wishes and speculation from fans and famous pals after sharing a video that appeared to be filmed in a hospital bed.

The two-time Grammy winner, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, seemed in good spirits in a short video posted to Instagram Monday that appears to have been filmed from a hospital bed. By Tuesday afternoon, Lil Nas X’s post had drawn a plethora of well wishes from some of his famous friends, including actors Taraji P. Henson and Niecy Nash. Some questioned if he’d experienced a stroke, while others suggested it was likely he’d been stricken with Bell’s palsy or Ramsay Hunt syndrome, two conditions known to cause temporary facial paralysis, usually on one side of the face.
