Lil Nas X documentary ‘Long Live Montero’ is set to get an international release via Universal.
“ Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero ” is a fly-on-the-wall feature helmed by Oscar-nominated director Carlos López Estrada (“Billie Eilish: When the Party’s Over”) and filmmaker Zac Manuel. Variety called the documentary a “rambunctious and at times exhilarating backstage concert movie,” adding that “’Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero’ channels the grandeur of what it means to put your dreams out there, for everyone to see.” Dave Sirulnick served as as producer alongside Caryn Capotosto for Museum & Crane, Saul Levitz for Sony Music, Adam Leber and Adriana Arce for Rebel, Gee Roberson for BPG/Maverick and Hoda Musa.
