Lil Baby’s ‘Wham’ Is the First New No. 1 Album of the Year; Bad Bunny Debuts at No. 2

Lil Baby's 'Wham' is the first new No. 1 album of the year as Bad Bunny trails closely behind with 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos' at No. 2.

2 with “ Debí Tirar Más Fotos,” his sixth studio LP, logging 122,000 units earned with only five days of activity since Billboard and Luminate only count units Friday through Thursday, and “Debí” was released on a Sunday (Jan. 5). It’s the Puerto Rican reggaeton star’s seventh top 10-charting set and third to peak at the summit since 2023’s “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana,” 2022’s “Un Verano Sin Ti,” and 2020’s “El Ultimo Tour Del Mundo.” Lil Baby previously topped the albums chart with “It’s Only Me” in 2022, “The Voice of the Heroes” with Lil Durk in 2021, and “My Turn” in 2020. The set — which included guest verses from Future, GloRilla, 21 Savage, Rylo Rodriguez, Travis Scott, Young Thug and Rod Wave — was available to purchase as a 15-song digital download album and a standard CD, followed by an extended edition exclusively available for purchase on his website.
