Life is Beautiful Festival Shifts to Block Party Format; Justice, Peggy Gou, LCD Soundsystem Lead EDM Lineup
The Life is Beautiful festival is shifting to an EDM-focused block party format that aims to turn Downtown Las Vegas into a 'massive dance party.'
Festival organizers on Tuesday unveiled plans for A Big Beautiful Block Party, described as a two-day “celebration of the culture, ideals and evolution of Downtown Las Vegas.” It’s set for Sept. 27-28. The EDM-focused block party format is designed to offer a more intimate experience than past iterations of the festival which included overlapping musical sets and multiple stages. Performers slated to appear include Justice, Peggy Gou, LCD Soundsystem, Jamie xx, Jungle, James Blake, Thundercat, Toro y Moi, Badbadnotgood, Neil Frances, LP Giobbi, Empress Of, John Talabot and Fifi.
