Liev Schreiber Reveals Who Convinced Him to Take Perfect Couple Role After He Was 'Nervous' to Play a 'Complete Douche Canoe'
After accepting his best supporting actor in a miniseries award at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards, Liev Schreiber confessed he felt "nervous" about portraying a "complete douche canoe" in 'The Perfect Couple'.
When asked if there would be a second season of The Perfect Couple, Schreiber admitted, "I haven't heard anything," but added, "After a Critics Choice award, another job would be a nice follow up." Based on TheNew York Times bestselling author Elin Hilderbrand's novel by the same name, The Perfect Couple transports viewers to Nantucket, Mass., where the Winburys are hosting a lavish family wedding at their seaside estate, Summerland. Upon accepting his award on Feb. 7, Schreiber gave his wife Taylor Neisen and his son Sasha a special shout-out during his speech.
