Liam Payne's large fortune left to loved ones after dying without will – and Cheryl's role

Liam Payne died without a will and left behind a £24.3million estate, with the power of administration granted to his ex-girlfriend Cheryl Tweedy and music lawyer Richard Bray

Cheryl Tweedy has been granted the power of administration of her late ex-partner Liam Payne's estate, after the singer tragically passed away aged 31 in October last year after a balcony fall in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As the One Direction singer did not leave a will, Cheryl, with whom he shared an eight year old son Bear, will manage his £24.3million estate. Following his passing, Cheryl paid a heartfelt tribute to Liam, describing his death as an "earth shattering event" that left her navigating her grief.
