Liam Payne's girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, recalls their last conversation before the One Direction star's death in an interview with Jay Shetty.

In a raw interview on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast posted Wednesday (April 16), the influencer recalled saying goodbye to Payne days before he suffered a fatal fall from a third-story hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. “On the last day in Argentina, my car was in the driveway, and we went back into the guest house, grabbed my suitcase and we were sitting on the couch and I just kept going on and on and on about how much I love him and how much he means to me,” Cassidy recalled. When they initially started dating, Cassidy remembers that some of Payne’s fans would send her hate, picking apart her appearance and speculating on the validity of their relationship.
