Last month, Argentinian prosecutors dropped manslaughter charges against Payne’s friend, Roger Nores, and two CasaSur employees in connection with the singer’s death. Two men accused of selling Payne drugs, Ezequiel Pereyra and Braian Nahuel Paiz, remain behind bars while they await trial on manslaughter charges.
