At the time, Cheryl, then 24, was married to footballer Ashley Cole, but she would later become romantically involved with Liam and give birth to their son, Bear Payne, reports the Mirror. During his audition, Liam confidently performed Frank Sinatra's Fly Me to the Moon, leaving Cheryl, Simon Cowell, and Louis Walsh utterly impressed. In an adorable Instagram post, Liam shared their joy: "I'm incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it's a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far."
