Liam Payne’s family issued a statement after the Argentinian Court of Appeals decided to drop charges related to his death
Last month, Argentina’s Court of Appeals ruled to drop manslaughter charges against Payne’s friend, Rogelio “Roger” Nores, as well as two workers at the hotel where the incident took place. However, two men accused of selling Payne drugs on the night he died — Ezequiel Pereyra and Braian Nahuel Paiz — remain behind bars while they await trial. “This weekend, at the Brit Awards, Liam was remembered for his phenomenal contribution to British music and for his wider, positive impact on millions of adoring fans the world over,” the statement continued.
