However, behind closed doors, the relationship between Liam Payne, who died earlier this week aged 31, Harry Styles, 30, Niall Horan, 31, Zayn Malik, 31, and Louis Tomlinson, 32, was far more complex. The pair grew close after the band split up, and Liam made an appearance at Louis' documentary screening for All Of Those Voices in March 2023, exploring Tomlinson's journey from being a member of pop boyband One Direction to forging his own solo career.
