Liam Payne's Alcohol Percentage at Time of Death Revealed
New details are emerging surrounding the death of Liam Payne. The One Direction singer, who died after falling from a third-floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in October 2024, had “concentrations of up to 2.7 grams per liter in [his] blood at the time of death,” Argentina’s National Crime and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office No.
Per Alcohol.org, a blood alcohol concentration level of 0.20 to 0.29% can lead to “confusion, feeling dazed and disorientation.” According to the website, “Sensations of pain will change, so if you fall and seriously hurt yourself, you may not notice, and you are less likely to do anything about it. A preliminary autopsy report viewed by Us Weekly last October revealed that Payne died from “multiple injuries involving ‘internal and external hemorrhage.’” It was believed he was in a “state of semi or total unconsciousness” at the time of the fall. Two men accused of selling Payne drugs, Ezequiel Pereyra and Braian Nahuel Paiz, remain behind bars while they await trial on manslaughter charges.
