Liam Payne's act of kindness revealed as charity praises One Direction star for his 'compassion' in tribute after his death at 31


Anti-poverty charity Trussell, revealed on Thursday that the One Direction star has supported their food banks since the Covid pandemic.

In March 2020, Payne donated to the charity - then known as Trussell Trust - to support more than 100 food bank centres in Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent, Coventry, Sheffield, Nottingham and Bristol as they provided help to people in crisis. Alongside a picture of himself wearing a face mask and gloves while helping, he wrote: 'Recently I made a personal, long-term commitment to support the The Trussell Trust and their vital work supplying meals to those in need all over the UK. Police had received a call from a worker at the hotel requesting urgent help with an intoxicated guest, according to audio related to the case obtained from the Buenos Aires security ministry.
