Nicole Scherzinger and Kelly Rowland were announced as judges alongside Liam, with Backstreet Boys star AJ McLean planned to serve as host. "Fifty talented singers will enter the competition for the opportunity of a lifetime: to find their perfect bandmates solely based on musical compatibility, connection, and, most importantly, merit. The former Pussycat Doll was on the judging panel with Simon Cowell on The X Factor when they made the all important decision to put Liam, Louis, Niall, Harry and Zayn together.
