In the moments leading up to his tragic death, singer Liam Payne was reportedly seen in a heated exchange with a woman about financial matters, even offering her a large sum of money. Local news outlet LA NACION noted that a disoriented Liam made his way to the hotel lobby, where concerned staff urged him to return to his room shortly before the fatal fall was heard. Speaking to the Buenos Aires Herald, Fleischmann revealed that he only recognised the man 'with an English accent who seemed to be causing a disturbance' in the hotel lobby as the One Direction singer after news of his death broke.
