Liam Payne Shared a Rare Update on His Son Bear, 7, in the Months Before His Death
Liam Payne was pronounced dead after falling multiple stories at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Wednesday, Oct. 16, Policía Federal Argentina confirmed to PEOPLE. The former One Direction singer is survived by his 7-year-old son Bear Grey, with his ex, Girls Aloud singer Cheryl.
The singer, 31, died after falling from a balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires on Wednesday, Oct. 16, Policía Federal Argentina confirmed to PEOPLE. Amid the tragic news, a Snapchat video taken by the former One Direction member on his 31st birthday in August has resurfaced, in which he gave a rare update on his only child, 7-year-old son Bear Grey, whom he shares with ex, singer Cheryl Cole. In a statement translated from Spanish, Alberto Crescenti (the head of SAME) told Argentine news channel TN that Payne fell into the hotel’s internal courtyard.
