Liam Payne’s preliminary autopsy suggests that the singer was likely in a ‘state of semi or total unconsciousness’ when he fell to his death
“The prosecutor’s office indicated that, based on the position in which the body was found and the injuries from the fall, it is presumed that Payne did not adopt a reflexive posture to protect himself and may have fallen in a state of semi or total unconsciousness.” Payne rose to fame as a member of British boy band One Direction alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. Us Weekly confirmed on Wednesday, October 16, that the One Direction alum died at age 31 after falling from a third floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
