Comedian Paddy McGuinness has shared a heartbreaking text exchange that he had with Liam Payne, following the One Direction star's tragic death at the age of 31

He relayed: "Our role was to head there quickly, give medical attention, and try to resuscitate him, but his injuries were incompatible with life. In wake of the devastating news, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik issued a heart-rending statement.
