Liam Payne Fan Details Encounter With Singer Days Before His Death
Days before Liam Payne’s death, One Direction fan and Peru resident Zaira Bravo had an encounter with the singer in Buenos Aires
Us Weekly confirmed on Wednesday, October 16, that Payne died at age 31 following a fall from the third-floor balcony of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires. “Everything indicates that the musician was alone when the fall occurred, and was going through some kind of episode due to substance abuse,” read a statement from the prosecutor’s office in Buenos Aires on Thursday, October 17, per Reuters. “City police who surveyed the scene found substances inside the room that at first glance — and pending confirmation from the experts — would be narcotics and alcoholic beverages, as well as several destroyed objects and furniture.”
