Liam Payne tragically died after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Wednesday, 16 October, and preliminary autopsy findings have since been released

The early findings align with injuries sustained from a ten-metre descent that the pop star is believed to have fallen from his third-floor Casa Sur hotel balcony on Godoy Cruz Street. Buenos Aires emergency services chief Alberto Crescenti told The Sun: "Our role was to head there quickly, give medical attention, and try to resuscitate him, but his injuries were incompatible with life. The 31 year old, who had enjoyed the company of his ex-bandmate Niall Horan while visiting Argentina, was accompanied by his partner Kate Cassidy on the trip, though she had flown home prior to the harrowing discovery yesterday.
