Liam Neeson On “Maybe” Retiring At “The End Of Next Year” From Action Films: “I’m 72 — It Has To Stop At Some Stage”

Liam Neeson is seeing the end of the road, starring in action films, and the time seems to be coming soon.

In a new interview, Neeson talks about his age and considers when he should stop taking on physically demanding roles. Earlier this year, Deadline reported that Neeson would star in a cross-country car chase movie, The Mongoose. The Prime Video film stars Neeson as Ryan “Fang” Flanagan, a war hero who, accused of a crime he didn’t commit and with nothing to lose, leads police on an epic televised cross-country car chase, helped by members of his former Special Forces Army battalion and closely monitored by a fascinated public rooting for his safe getaway.
