Liam Gallagher Dismisses Rock Hall of Fame Nomination As ‘for Wankers’
Liam Gallagher has responded to Oasis' nomination for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by saying it's "for wankers."
After Oasis fan account shared a list of the nominees, who also include Mariah Carey, Outkast, Billy Idol, Soundgarden, and the White Stripes, Gallagher weighed in in typical fashion. The nominees for the Rock Hall are Mariah Carey, Phish, Outkast, Oasis, Billy Idol, Cyndi Lauper, Joy Division/New Order, Soundgarden, the White Stripes, Joe Cocker, Bad Company, Black Crowes, Chubby Checker, and Maná. He also recently responded to a fan asking about a rumored setlist containing beloved cuts across their career and culminating in classics like “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Live Forever,” and “Champagne Supernova,” saying “It’s not far off.”
