Lewis Hamilton commanded attention in an orange coat as he arrived at the paddock ahead of the Formula One Australian Grand on Thursday.
Apparently alluding to the woman at the centre of the Red Bull scandal, who has complained about alleged harassment by team principal Christian Horner – a charge of which he has been cleared in an internal inquiry – Hamilton added: ‘It is still a male-dominated sport. 'We’re living in a time where the message is if you file a complaint, you will be fired (the women in the Red Bull saga has been suspended on full pay), and that is a terrible narrative to be projecting to the world, especially when we’re talking about inclusivity in the sport. The bombshell move came less than a year after Hamilton denied talks with Ferrari over a huge £40million deal and instead signed a two-year extension with the Silver Arrows worth a combined £100m.
