Lewis Hamilton shares emotional post after co-chairing the Met Gala as he honours black style theme writing 'Now we're seen' before heading to afterparty
Lewis Hamilton has shared an emotional post as he expressed his gratitude after acting as one of the co-chairs for this year's Met Gala.
The annual event orchestrated by Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, celebrates the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition, which this year centres around the political and aesthetic constructs of Black dandyism. The theme 'illustrates how Black people transformed from being enslaved and stylized as luxury items, acquired like any other signifier of wealth and status, to autonomous self-fashioning individuals who are global trendsetters'. Lewis was joined by fellow co-chairs actor Colman Domingo, rapper A$AP Rocky and musician, record producer and Louis Vuitton men's creative director Pharrell Williams.
