Levi Wright's Mom Says He Couldn't Be Weaned Off Sedation in Emotional Update: 'Heartbreaking to Watch'
Levi Wright’s mom Kallie Wright posted an update on his condition on Facebook on May 30, explaining that he had not been able to 'handle' being weaned off sedation and describing that as 'heartbreaking to watch.'
“The 24 hour eeg [electroencephalogram], didn't tell us much different from the first but it was one of the things we felt we needed to do again,” Kallie wrote about Levi, who has been hospitalized in a critical condition since driving his toy tractor into a Utah river on May 21. Earlier this week, on Tuesday, May 28, Kallie shared an update on Facebook where she said Levi was "getting another 24 hour EEG which monitors brain wave activity now & he has another MRI scheduled Friday." “The MRI wasn't good, we're shattered but it is just images that suggest a certain quality of life,” she wrote in a May 24 post.
