Leslie Abramson’s Net Worth: How Much Money the Former Lawyer Makes
Abramson is best known for her role as the defense attorney for Erik during the Menendez brothers’ trial. Learn more about how much the former lawyer has earned throughout her career.
In 1996, the Los Angeles Times described her as a “4-foot-11, fire-eating, mud-slinging, nuclear-strength pain in the legal butt.” Abramson embraced this characterization, telling The Washington Post that same year, “My role model is Joan of Arc, and anyone else who’s been burned at the stake.” In 1988, she served as the defense lawyer for 17-year-old Arnel Salvatierra, who was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter (reduced from the original first-degree murder charge) after shooting his father three times in the face. Throughout her career, Abramson defended more than 50 people accused of murder and published a book in 1997 titled The Defense Is Ready: Life in the Trenches of Criminal Law before retiring.
