Jacob Elordi recalled Leonardo DiCaprio approaching him in a nightclub to tell the Australian actor he’s a fan of his HBO series ‘Euphoria’
Euphoria premiered its first season in June 2019 to much critical acclaim — including a history-making Emmy win for leading lady Zendaya — and fan attention. The controversial HBO drama, created by Sam Levinson and also starring Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney, premiered in 2019 before taking an unplanned hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There’s not much known about the forthcoming third season, but in an August 2023 interview with Elle, Levinson said he views it as a “film noir” that will explore “what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world” through the eyes of Rue (Zendaya).
