Leon Thomas’ ‘Mutt’ Snatches Third Radio Crown of 2025

Leon Thomas breakout "Mutt" single tops its third radio chart of 2025, Rhythmic Airplay, as the deluxe of its parent album impacts the charts.

The single steps from the runner-up spot to become the most-played song on United States panel-contributing rhythmic radio stations in the tracking week of May 30-June 5, according to Luminate. As “Mutt” ascends on Rhythmic Airplay, it knocks Kendrick Lamar’s “Peekaboo,” featuring AzChike, from the chart’s perch after its two-week stay. Beyond its current and former chart-topping stats, “Mutt” reverses 2-3 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, which ranks songs by combined audience totals from adult R&B and mainstream R&B/hip-hop stations.
