On Saturday, the official nominations for this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame were announced, and the two veteran musicians were on the list. In addition to Carey and Kravitz, this year's stacked nominees list includes Ozzy Osbourne, Cher, Mary J. Blige, Dave Matthews Band, Eric B & Rakim, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Jane’s Addiction, Kool & the Gang, Oasis, Sinead O’Connor, Sade and A Tribe Called Quest. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees will be announced in April, with the ceremony celebrating the musicians airing in the fall.
