Lenny Kravitz to Receive Music Icon Award at 2024 People’s Choice Awards
Past recipients of that award are Shania Twain, Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Lopez.
Kravitz had both success and disappointment on the awards trail with “Road to Freedom,” which he wrote, performed and produced for the Netflix film Rustin. Kravitz won Grammy Awards in four consecutive years (1999-2002) for best male rock vocal performance for “Fly Away,” “American Woman,” “Again” and “Dig In.” “Lenny’s musical gift is truly unmatched,” Jen Neal, executive vice president, live events and specials, NBCUniversal Entertainment, said in a statement.
