Legendary music star dead at 50 as tributes paid to 'one of the greatest to ever touch a mic'


Rapper and actor Chino XL - who was famously a rival of the late Tupac - has reportedly died at the age of 50, with tributes pouring in from across the music world

Fellow artists have been quick to express their sorrow, with rapper A-F-R-O taking to social media to say: "RIP to CHINO XL .. Chino's longtime collaborator, producer Andrew Laidlaw, also remembered the late musician in a post on social media (where he goes by the handle @configa). Aside from his successful rap career, Chino also made appearances on popular TV shows like CSI: Miami and Reno 911!, and in 2003, he shared the big screen with Kate Hudson and Luke Wilson in the film Alex & Emma.
