Legendary A Country Practice star Brian Wenzel dies weeks before his 95th birthday
Iconic Australian actor Brian Wenzel has died aged 94.
'Brian's wife of almost 70 years, Linda, phoned this morning to relay the news of his passing, saying he died peacefully,' reported Woman's Day. Wenzel became a household name in Australia through his portrayal of the upright Sgt Frank Gilroy on A Country Practice, a series that captured the hearts of viewers from 1981 to 1993. Brian's later years were marked by his battle with dementia, leading him to enter nursing care in September 2022, as shared by his wife Linda.
