Leeds International Film Festival Sets Dates, Spotlights On Stuart Croft & Smita Patil
Leeds International Film Festival has unveiled its dates for November, and early program plans, including spotlights on Stuart Croft and Smita Patil.
Furthermore, 20 programmers have been added to the team, all of whom were made from open applications and with an eye on championing new talent and supporting those at entry-level. This year, spotlights will shine on late Indian actress Smita Patil and Stuart Croft, the Leeds-based artist-filmmaker who passed away in 2015. Croft’s work crossed the boundaries of art galleries and cinema, with his exhibitions shown everywhere from New York to Beijing.
