LeBron James Will Opt-Out Of His Lakers Contract – Report
ESPN is saying James will seek a new deal with the team, but nothing is guaranteed.
At 2 PM Pacific time today, LeBron James will be eligible to move on to any team in the NBA. That’s not to say he will, particularly since the Lakers drafted his son, Bronny, and has his podcast partner, J.J. Redick, as the team’s new coach. ESPN reports James intends to opt out of the final year of his contract with the Lakers, worth $51.4 million for next season.
