LeBron James & Maverick Carter’s SpringHill Company Partners With France’s Mediawan On Content Pact
LeBron James' SpringHill has partnered with Mediawan on a content deal with the Brad Pitt Plan B owner.
SpringHill and Mediawan will develop and co-produce original film and TV projects, adapt existing IP and explore new international distribution opportunities. Carter, who founded SpringHill with basketball star James, said: “We are excited to deepen our relationship with Pierre-Antoine and the Mediawan team as it allows us, together, to bring to light authentic, impactful content for the world to experience.” SpringHill projects include Rez Ball, which was directed and co-written by Sydney Freeland and Reservation Dogs creator Sterlin Harjo, A Radical Act: The Renee Montgomery Story coming to Roku in October, The Wall on NBC and Netflix’s Starting 5 featuring James, Jimmy Butler, Anthony Edwards, Jayson Tatum and Domantas Sabonis.
