Leah Remini reveals earning college degree from New York University at age 53 after beginning 'terrifying journey' three years ago
Leah Remini took to social media on Thursday to reveal that she has earned a college degree at age 53.
She added: 'I feel so grateful to have gotten the support I needed from my family and friends, including my mom, my step-father George, my sisters Nicole and Shannon, my husband Angelo, and most of all, my little nugget, my daughter Sofia.' But over the past three years, I’ve heard from thousands of people, especially women, who have decided to take the leap at an older age and get their GED or pursue a college education,' Leah wrote. The New York City native, shown in September 2017 in Los Angeles, revealed last month on social media that she was navigating perimenopause, while also coping with depression and anxiety since leaving the Church of Scientology
