Law around setting off fireworks on New Year's Eve to avoid a £90 fine

If you are hosting a New Year's Eve party and planning a firework display, here are the legalities you need to know to avoid being hit with a whopping fine in the new year

Firework laws exist to protect people from harm and prevent distress and nuisance, reports the Manchester Evening News. The law states that you cannot set off or throw fireworks (including sparklers) in the street or other public places.
