Lauryn Hill took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday (Aug. 7) to clarify the cancelation of her upcoming North American tour dates with The Fugees, which was set to kick off on Friday (Aug. 9) in Tampa, Fla.. “Last year, I faced an injury that necissitated the rescheduling of some of my shows,” Hill wrote, in reference to the tour getting postponed in November 2023 after the star revealed that she was struggling with vocal issues. “Regrettably, some media outlet’s penchant for sensationalism and clickbait headlines have seemingly created a narrative that has affected ticket sales for the North American portion of the tour.
