Laurie Metcalf Signs With CAA As ‘The Connors’ Heads Into Final Season


Metcalf, who stars on ABC's The Connors, is a four-time Emmy winner and two-time Tony winner.

She was Oscar-nominated for 2017’s Lady Bird written and directed by Greta Gerwig, a performance that also garnered nominations from the Golden Globes, British Film Academy, Screen Actors Guild and Independent Spirt Award. A founding member of Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, Metcalf’s extensive and acclaimed stage career has included six Tony Award nominations and two wins (Lucas Hnath’s A Doll’s House, Part 2 in 2017 and Edward Albee’s Three Tall Women the following year). In all, she’s appeared on Broadway 10 times, most recently in Levi Holloway’s 2023 mystery chiller Grey House and Hnath’s Hillary and Clinton in 2019.
