According to Variety, the 62-year-old performer will portray Regis, a barber-surgeon with a dark and uncertain past who joins forces with the show's main character, Geralt of Rivia. The show is centered on Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter by nature, as he attempts to bring peace to the land while navigating his complex relationships with Crown Princess Cirilla of Cintra and sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg. It was subsequently revealed that Geralt of Rivia would be portrayed by Liam Hemsworth, and the Justice League star gave his blessing to the actor to continue in his stead.
