Lauren Phillips' ex-husband Lachlan Spark has taken a brutal swipe at their failed marriage on Valentine's Day.
'Approaching 40, I was more than a bit nervous I'd wasted a big chunk of my life with the wrong person, and that I was long odds to find anyone who was willing (or able) to give me the love I knew I deserved,' he continued. Lauren is now engaged to private jet operator Paul O'Brien (pictured), who is also believed to be the ex of former Sunrise star, Samantha Armytage Lauren continued: 'That made me break down very quickly, but I was determined to try everything I possibly could and that meant sacrificing my own health in the end, and that is why I almost had a nervous breakdown.'
