Lauren Laverne's mum and dad both sadly died - before her own shock cancer diagnosis
TV presenter Lauren Laverne revealed she'd been diagnosed with cancer earlier this week - but tragedy had previously hit her hard with the deaths of her mum and dad
The TV and radio personality, 46, opened up to her fans on Instagram on Wednesday, 21 August, to explain she'd been told she had cancer after it was caught during a screening test. Lauren Laverne and her late mother CeliaShe'd earlier said that her mum had been looking forward to Paul McCartney's headline slot on the Saturday night, writing on Instagram: "She had just given the kids their Glastonbury spending money and was looking forward to watching Paulie (as he was always known in our house - her favourite Beatle) tonight."
